Every question waits for your answer. The explanation comes after.

It Never Writes It for You

Soren marks the spots in your writing worth another look. The fixing is up to you.

What studying with Soren looks like.

  1. Notes

It starts with your own notes.

Type them, paste them or photograph the page. Soren keeps them class by class, unit by unit, and makes quizzes, flashcards and a trivia board from what you put in.

  2. Quizzes

    You answer first.

Soren writes a quiz from the unit, in the formats you pick. Every question waits for your answer. The why comes after.

A multiple-choice question in Soren with an answer chosen and, under it, why that answer is right.
  3. Games

    Study by playing.

Pick a topic and Soren writes a clue for each of its key words. You recall each word from its clue. There's a trivia board and a word search too.

  4. Due Today

    What you missed comes back.

A question you miss returns the next day. Get it right and it comes back after 3 days, then 7, 14 and 30, until you've mastered it. Ten at a time.

Soren's Home, where a Due Today tile shows three questions waiting from one unit, with a Start Round button.
  5. Writing

It marks your writing. It never rewrites it.

Paste a draft. Soren marks the spots worth another look and names the kind of problem: mechanics, clarity, structure or argument. The fixing is up to you, and your draft isn't kept.

A student's paragraph in Soren with five passages marked, and one of them named as a comma splice.

What Soren Won't Do

  • It won't write your essay.
  • It won't show the answer before you've tried.
  • It won't sell your work or show you ads.

Soren is for high-school students. It is built for the work they already have: this week's notes, the next test, the essay that's due.
